On The Water Collection
Hand-carved linocut prints inspired by our deep connection to water.
Water is a part of each of us. It connects us, it moves us, it sustains us.
This collection began along the coast of Maine, in small, quiet moments where water and human presence meet.
Each piece is a study in attention: reflection, movement, stillness, and the subtle ways water holds and shapes what surrounds it.
Each linocut print begins as a photograph, then becomes a drawing, and finally a carved block.
Each line is carved by hand. Each print is inked and pulled individually. No two impressions are exactly the same.
Drawn from Southwest Harbor, where the boats are moored side by side and turn slowly together with the tide. This piece was created as a reminder that we’re bound together, sharing the same earth. We have more in common than we often see at first glance.
Each print is carved, inked, and printed by hand, allowing small variations that make each print unique. From the On The Water Collection.

I’m sharing the process behind these hand-carved linocut prints: photographing the coast of Maine, carving reflections and water textures into linoleum, and pulling each print by hand in the studio.
