Hi! I’m Sarah K.
Each morning, I begin with pen and paper, writing in the quiet before the day begins. The words that shape my work come from daily practice: blessings, meditations, and phrases written to be repeated, held, and considered in the quiet morning hours.
Make For Good was born from that space.
I’m an artist, mother, and wife, working in clay and ink from my sunroom studio in Richmond, VA. My work is shaped slowly: by hand, by rhythm, by the belief that the objects we live with can speak purpose and truth into our lives.
I work in ancient traditions—printmaking and ceramics—because I love how they connect us to generations of makers who found purpose in repetition, function, and handcraft. There’s deep beauty in shaping a vessel that will hold someone’s morning tea or carving a print of a beloved retreat spot to watch over a family’s daily routines.
If you’ve ever longed for a moment of quiet, words to hold onto, or a gift that holds deep meaning, you’re in the right place.
Through Make For Good, I offer thoughtful work, created to nourish body and spirit. And because care extends beyond the work, each collection shares a portion of its proceeds with a nonprofit connected to its story.
It’s so nice to meet you.
